Reel and the Real face of Indian Democracy

The world sees the reel face of Indian democracy through its sponsored media but Kashmir experiences the real face of Indian democracy (demon crazy) and that is the reason most of the Kashmiri people do not consider India as a democratic country but a HYPOCRITIC, BRUTE, BIASED, UN-DEMOCRATIC, OPPRESSING country.

INDIA’S COMMITMENT OF PLEBISCITE FOR THE PEOPLE OF KASHMIR

“Our view which we have repeatedly made public is that the question of accession in any disputed territory or State must be decided in accordance with wishes of people and we adhere to this view.”

* JAWAHARLAL NEHRU

(in telegram No. 402-Primin-2227 dated 27 October 1947 to Prime Minister of Pakistan repeating telegram addressed to Prime Minister of United Kingdom).

Kashmir should decide question of accession by plebiscite or referendum under international auspices such as those of the United Nations.”

* JAWAHARLAL NEHRU

(Letter No. 368-Primin dated 21 November 1947 to Prime Minister of Pakistan).

“The most feasible method of ascertaining the wishes of the people was by fair and impartial plebiscite.”

* JAWAHARLAL NEHRU

(Joint press communique of the Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan issued in Delhi after their meeting on 20 August 1953).

“People seem to forget that Kashmir is not a commodity for sale or to be bartered. It has an individual existence and its people must be the final arbiters of their future.”

* JAWAHARLAL NEHRU

(Report to the All-India Congress Committee, 6 July 1951; The Statesman, New Delhi, 9 July 1951).

“We have taken the issue to the United Nations and given our word of honour for a peaceful solution. As a great nation, we cannot go back on it. We have left the question for final solution to the people of Kashmir and we are determined to abide by their decision.”

* JAWAHARLAL NEHRU

(Amrita Bazar Patrika, Calcutta, 2 January 1952).

“The whole dispute about Kashmir is still before the United Nations. We cannot just decide things concerning Kashmir. We cannot pass a bill or issue an order concerning Kashmir or do whatever we want.

* JAWAHARLAL NEHRU

(The Statesman, 1 May 1953)

“If, after a proper plebiscite, the people of Kashmir said, ‘We do not want to be with India’, we are committed to accept that. We will accept it though it might pain us. We will not send any army against them. We will accept that, however hurt we might feel about it, we will change the Constitution, if necessary.”

* JAWAHARLAL NEHRU

(Statement in the Indian Parliament, 26 June 1952).

These are few statements of the very first Prime Minister of India in which he had time and again assured the people of Jammu & Kashmir in particular and the world community in general to hold a referendum and give the people of this disputed area a chance to decide their future but look at the hypocrisy of the “so called largest democracy,” that they are now not only denying to hold any such plebiscite but have stuck themselves to the mythical Integral-Part Theory.

India has time and again tried to suppress the resistance movement started by the people of Kashmir, who have been the worst sufferer’s. They have used every inhumane act or better call it Govt. Sponsored Terrorism which has left the whole valley bruised and traumatized and have pushed the younger generations into despair which ultimately leads to chaos but as a matter of fact they have not succumbed to these nefarious designs and are not ready to surrender either. In this freedom struggle of Kashmir more than hundred thousand lives have already been lost and number is increasing day in and day out and there are many who live to die another day. In only past two decades more than 75000 lives have been lost and according to the Association of Parents of Disappeared Persons (APDP) around 10,000 have disappeared in custody of the Indian (in)security forces but I fear the number may be greater as many may have lost hope of seeing their loved ones and tried to carry on with their lives….ZINDAGI MISGARA..(life goes on). Un-named mass graves have been discovered in many border areas of the valley which have become a symbol of the Indian Terrorism in the Vale, the Vale that was once known as “Paradise On Earth.”

The freedom struggle of Kashmir has gone through many phases, from the armed struggle that started in 1989 to the current peaceful uprising which started on 11th June 2010 and is now considered as Kashmir’s own Intifada in which more then 110 civilian’s have been brutally murdered by the Indian (in)security forces.

Now I will try to differentiate between the Reel Face of Indian democracy and The Real Face of Indian democracy.

On 25th Sept 2010 the Union Home Minister of India P.Chindambaram while addressing the media said, “New Delhi would advise the state government to immediately release all students and youths detained or arrested for pelting stones and withdraw charges against them." This message was highlighted by the Indian media to the maxim but the ground reality is startling and horrifying as the crack down on protestors have increased and hundreds of youth have been arrested since then and many of them have been booked under the draconian law of Public Safety Act(PSA). What is more shocking is that the in(security) forces have now started cracking down even on e-protestors, facebook users and blogger’s and are being booked under PSA and shifted to the jails that are believed to be hostile for Kashmiri prisoner’s like Kuthua, Koutbalwaal and Heeranagar jails.

He further requested rather it was a proxy order for the puppet CM to re-open all educational institutes in the valley and not to much surprise he did while the media channels were busy portraying on reel the situation coming back to normal. The real face was something different for this student who reveals his agony to a news reporter:

Sept 29 The fears that government was risking the lives of students by decreeing them to attend schools amidst curfew and protests came true on Wednesday when a schoolboy lost his eye after being hit by a marble shot at him through sling shot allegedly by paramilitary CRPF troopers.
A 9th class student of Extol Bhawan School Awantibavan, Soura, Aabid Mushtaq, minutes after being brought out of Operation Theatre at SMHS Hospital here, while revealing his agony to Greater Kashmir said: “I came out on road to see whether my school bus has reached the pickup place. Two CRPF men caught hold of me and another one shot a marble in my left eye with a sling shot from close range. They also thrashed me with canes.”
Aabid said he showed his identity card also but the troopers didn’t honour it. “CRPF men told me that Kashmiri students need not attend schools,” he said. “You are following Geelani’s calendar. When you didn’t go to school for past two days, what is the need to go today,” he quoted the troopers as saying. “Follow Geelani’s calendar,” the boy was told while being thrashed.
Aabid’s father, Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, a businessman, said since there was no curfew or protests in the area he allowed his son to attend the school. “My son was profusely bleeding in the eye. His shirt was fully stained with blood when we took him to hospital,” he said.
Muzaffar Ahmad, an eyewitness, said CRPF men ruthlessly beat up Aabid. “They later held him and one of them hit him with the marble,” he said. “Kashmiri people are not safe in their own land. Forces are here to kill the people, not to provide security,” he lamented.
Aabid was rushed to SKIMS from where doctors referred him to SMHS Hospital.
A senior doctor who operated upon Aabid told this reporter that Aabid’s eye has been badly damaged with injury in eyeball. “He can’t see with that eye. We can only try to repair the eye to avoid deformity in the face,” the doctor said.
The doctor said that Aabid has been shot from very close range. “It is unbearable. Small kids are becoming visually handicapped in force’s action,” he said
.

No media channel highlighted the issue and that was not something new for the people of Kashmir as the media channels have always been biased when reporting about Kashmir. The people of Kashmir are being denied each and every human right and the most important right they are being denied is the right to live. The people of valley are being punished for no fault of theirs, the lives of the people living in this part of the world are being turned into a living hell with continuous blood shed, unlawful arrests, frequent curfews imposed by the Indian administration, all this has left deep psychological scars on the youth and I fear if they are pushed further to the wall the consequences will be devastating. If what I fear may happen its not only India to be blamed but international community and organizations who claim to be the peace keepers of the world will equally be responsible as they have also failed to perform their duties. Human Rights in Kashmir are being violated every single minute as the deaf and dumb world watches as spectators.

It is the time for India and world to decide about the peace and prosperity of the subcontinent or let it burn for many more decades….

As one of my friends said about Kashmiri's , “barbed wires and barricades can't crush our spirit...we are born to transcend these barriers and reach the horizon even if the sun is setting.. WE are waiting for a new dawn....”

Another day of Massacre ---- Is anybody listening

Two days after Eid-ul-Fitir, 16 people were murdered in cold blood by the brute indian (in)security forces, the unofficial reports say the toll for the day is 22. Todays massacre took the total death toll to 87 since June 11 but the world seems to be too deaf and dumb to hear the screams and speak for justice. Apart from the protest against the indian occupation people staged protest against the desecration of Holy Quran in america but were not spared as the indian (in)security forces fired at the unarmed protesters killing at least 16 of them and injuring over 60.The irony is that not only so called international human rights organisations are silent but the organisations like organisation of Islamic countries(OIC) is showing a criminal silence over the genocide of Muslims in Kashmir.United Nations Organisation(UNO) seems to be a powerless sterile organisation as it has failed to facilitate the right to self determination of the people of Kashmir as promised.India is trying to suppress kashmiri's on every front as it has now banned the local media channels that revealed the truth about the barbarism of indian forces and even does not allow the photojournalists to perform their professional duties and with its own manipulating media india projects a distorted image of truth,this the reality about the so called indian democracy(read demon crazy). India is now pushing the youth of Kashmir to the wall as always and this can turn out to be too risky for them because at the moment if the youth once again resort to the arms not only india but the entire sub-continent will be pushed into chaos.As of now whole world seems to me equally responsible for the situation in Kashmir,Palestine,Afghanistan and Chechnya as all of these nations are suffering almost in a same manner.....

Center,State and the Shoe

The death toll in the current movemnet or what is now referred to as Kashmir's INTIFADA has reached 58 since June 11 2010.The irony is that India is still not in a mood to understand what the people of Kashmir want and it was evident from the Indian PM's speech to his nation as he promised economical packages and jobs to the Kashmiri youth.On one hand Indian PM said that he can understand the anger and pain of the Kashmiri youth and within no time humiliated them as he offered them jobs and once again gave a deaf ear to the decades old reverberating slogan "HUM kYA CHAHTEY AAZADI" which means "WE WANT FREEDOM."Why is to so hard for India to at least acknowledge the real demand and feelings of Kashmiri people?
The PM's speech had no positive effect on ground,Kashmiri youth have been hearing it for too long and they don't wanna pay any heed to these speechs any more.
On 15th August a historic incident was written down in the books of freedom struggle of Kashmir, when Mr.Abdul Ahad Jan an Assistant Sub Inspector of the J&K police hurled a shoe towards the CM just when he hoisted the flag of his slavery.As in case of all previous shoe throwing incidents Mr.Ahad Jan also missed the target but neverthless made his point by waving black flag and raised the slogan"WE WANT FREEDOM" before he was carried away in an inhumane manner by the CM's security and was beaten to pulp which took him to the hospital.The daring act by the cop made him a hero in the eyes of the common masses and soon thousands visited his home at Ajas in Bandipora.The indian media as usual tried to dilute the incident by broadcasting the video clips without sound of Mr. Ahad Jan crying in front of CM when CM had called him to his place and they reported saying he regreted his action and that the shoe was actually thrown towards DG Police Kuldeep Khoda and later CM tried to portray himself as a hero by pardoning him and released him. As soon as Mr.Ahad Jan was released he resigned from the Job and while talking to media persons say he does not regret what he did which has made him a hero once for all.

Kaashmir--The valley of death

20 dead in 72 hours, it has been a massacre of the common people going on in this part of the world for which the former President of US Bill Clinton had once said "Kashmir is the most beautiful jail of the world" and he was not wrong. The past week was a relatively calm till Friday 30th July when the indian security forces once again went on a killing spree and started spilling the blood of innocent youth of Kashmir. Since then the number of martyrs has increased exponentially, on friday as soon as the reports of firing at uptown area of Chanpora spread across the valley thousands of people came out on roads and started protesting against the state terrorism in the vale. The slogans of "HUM KYA CHAHETY AAZADI" which has been the symbol of denial against the Indian occupation and is considered to be the soul of the Kashmiri Revolution since decades started reverberating through out the vale.The massacre had just begun, soon after friday prayers security forces started firing at the peaceful procession in the Apple town of Sopore killing two youth Mohammad Ahsan Ganai and Showkat Ahmad Wagaey.The news brought more people out on the road protesting against barbarism of Indian security forces.In the north Kashmir's Pattan town another 14yr old boy Mohammad Rafiq Bhat became the victim of state sponsored terrorism and had to pay with his life.

INA LILLAH HE WA INNA ILLAH'I RA'AJI'OON

On the following day 31st July Saturday protests were on across the vale and blood of four more hapless Kashmiri's was spilled.The worst was yet to come on the 1st August Sunday that became a bloody sunday claiming 9 innocent lives and injuring 100's.On the fateful sunday protesters in South Kashmir's Pampore area defied the restrictions and came out on roads protesting against the killing of a young woman in nearby Khrew area,as soon as people reached the national highway police resorted heavy tear gas shelling and soon they started firing at the demonstrators killing two more protesters, one of them Nayeem Ahmad Shah (20yrs) was declared brought dead by the doctors at SMHS hospital in Srinagar and another youth Rayees Ahmad(18yrs) breathed his last near Nowgam-byepass area but people were determined enough to make a stand and continued protests.In the nearby area of Khrew the massacre was on, the SOG(Special Operations Group) who have always been brutal intercepted the peacefull procession resulting in confrontation.The angry youth retaliated with stones (which have now become the weapon of latest INTIFADA),attacking the SOG camp were from the SOG personal started firing at the protesters indiscriminately.The firing almost continued for 3 hrs killing 2 youth and injuring many more. Later in the afternoon youth who were hundreds in number joined the protesters and attacked the SOG camp heavily, the SOG men flew from the camp and took refuge in the nearby army camp. The angry protesters torched the SOG camp and the explosives inside exploded killing 4 youth on spot and injuring many others fatally.The first day of August turned out to be the bloodiest day among past 52 days with 9 more graves dug.Today the day was no different as 6 youth and a 9yr old boy were covered by the blood-soaked soil.

Har simit dekh tou maidaan e karbala hai
lahoo he lahoo ab shab o roaz beh raha hai

Phir be dagamagati nahi,zinda dil ye qoum hai
nikaley ga Ghulami ka janaza, har su yehi shour hai

The government has decide to stick to its old age theory of cross border instigation and all that myth.The Central Govt. is in complete denial to accept Kashmir as a disputed territory and in the meeting between the puppet CM Omar (Singh),Home Minister and Prime Minister of the occupying nation came out with a solution of sending even more troops to the most densely militarized part of the world. The puppet CM in his press conference said we will ensure that peace prevails in vale either by hook or by crook, but the real fact is he will just terrorize the people for sometime what after that? The sentiment of AAZADI is growing in bosom of every Kashmiri.The former CM and father of current CM in a media debate made his intentions clear when he said, "how can we allow them to destroy public property,"he is the same man who few days ago gave a naive statement "GOLI MARO KASHMIR KO."

The State Govt. banned all the local media channels who aired the truth about the indian brutalities and on the other hand the indian media has started portraying the youth as riot mobs which really is pathetic. The Indian media has always been biased when it comes to the plight of Kashmiri Muslims while they leave no stone unturned to highlight the loses that businessmen of Jammu are suffering.

What is happening?

Kashmir has been almost shut for 28 days now during which all business establishments,educational institutions,Govt. Offices have remained closed as people were protesting against the human rights violation in Kashmir. Today after a relatively peaceful week unconfirmed reports of Killing of a civilian in uptown area of Chanpora shook the people again.What is happening in the Vale of Saints, the place for which the Mughal emperor Jehangir had once said:
"Agar Firdous ba roye e zameen ast
Hameen asto Hameen asto hameen ast

If there is paradise on the face of earth
Indeed It is here it is here it is here"

The valley at present is facing a humanitarian crises because of the genocide going on in the vale. In past 28 days almost 18 people have been martyred most of them teenagers including a 9yr boy and a 24yr female. In past one month reports say almost 1500 youth have been arrested and booked under various cases just because they were protesting against the atrocities of the indian armed forces.The State Govt. is using every manoeuvre to suppress the justified voice. The state police recently booked Mirwaiz South Kashmir Moulvi Yasir under the draconian law of PSA for calling "Anantnag" as "Islambad" which shows their frustration.

"Jis Khaaq ke zameer mein ho aatish e chinaar
Mumkin nahi ki sard'e woh khaaq e arjumand" Alama Iqbal(RA)

The Govt. seems unmoved by the crises as they are holding to the myth that the protests are being instigated by the people on the other side of the border but if we take a look at the current situation of Pakistan this claim seems inappropriate as Pakistan has itself become a victim of terrorism most probably backed by RAW,MOSSAD and CIA along with the poor leadership of 10% Zardari. The seriousness of Govt. to solve the crises in Kashmir could clearly be determined by keeping in view the statement given by Former CM of J&K and the current Misnister of New and Renewable Energy in central Govt. Farooq Abdullah who was asked a question regarding the prevailing situation in Kashmir and the answer came as shock "GOLI MARO KASHMIR KO."

"Qaba kis muh se jaawogey Ghalib
Sharam tumko magar nahi aati" Mirza Ghalib

The sentiment of "AAZADI" has been transferred to the next generation, the generation that has seen the Vale in the worst conditions.These are the "Children of Conflict" as they have witnessed too much of bloodshed and atrocities, they were brought up in fear. They have witnessed there loved ones being murdered, they have witnessed the inhumane and gruesome acts like the Kunanposhpora, Handwara etc. mass rape cases were they watched the chastity of their sisters being violated. They not have only fear but anger hidden in their bosoms and now that fear has been overthrown by the anger.

"I shall not cease to fight against thee and thy people until either you leave my country or I leave my life. And I swear by Him who knows what is in men's hearts that if my hands were not bound this very moment, I would fight you with my bare hands, old and broken as I am.." Lion of the desert Umar Mukhtar(RA)

The downtown area of Srinagar has been keeping alive the struggle for a long time and has been turned into "Gaza Strip of Kashmir" by the authorities. The people of the area are facing an acute shortage of essential commodities and few days back the relief caravan that was on its way to Shehar e Khaas was stopped at Sonwar just like Gaza Flotilla raid by Pisrael. I salute the perseverance and dedication of the people of Kashmir in general and the people of downtown in particular.

"Aye taayir e laahoti uss rizq se mout achi
Jis riziq se aati ho parvaaz mein kotahi" Alama Iqbal(RA)

If we monitor the situation closely it seems the leadership has become irrelevant to some extent as the younger generation find it hard to trust them.Since 2008 younger generation has started to take the matters in their own hands as the leadership failed to take the 2008 mass uprising to its logical end.The division of leadership does not only harm the cause but it has started to create gap among the people as well and if we do not end this division I fear that the time will come when the gap will be too large to fill.

Bloggers on the catch list

As the indian forces in Indian Occupied Kashmir are on a killing spree in which they killed around 15 young kashmiri's of age group 9-25yrs including a female, the state police had decided to go against the blogger's mostly the user's of the most accessed social networking site Facebook. Since last few days police is tracking down the bloggers who have been trying to make the world come across the truth about indian brutalities in this disputed territory and asking them to report to the police stations and in some cases arresting them. The Central and State Govt. seems to be frustrated how the people have been trying to reach out the world and make them hear thr voices. As noticed recently almost 45% of the facebooker's from the valley had changed their profile pictures to "I PROTEST," which seems to have freaked out the indian state.

The people of this disputed territory at this point of time are being terrorized on every front possible, to suppress their genuine voice, the voice for justice, voice for freedom. On the one hand the so called security agencies have been arresting the protesters on the other-hand indian media is playing dirty tricks to divert the attention of the people while the state media was put on a stand still and now the state police is trying to close on the e-protester's. The state police has blamed many Facebook user's of instigating violence and had slapped harsh cases against the youth as 'waging war against state.' In the words of one such blogger he said." I received a call Saturday evening,” a face book user, who was booked by police In Islamabad town, told rising Kashmir. “The person wanted to meet me. I mistook him as my friend. I told him we can meet after strikes and curfews are over”.

As the face book user declined to meet, the caller insisted he should come to lalchowk (Islamabad).
“Or else he said he would come to my home,” the Facebook user said.
Later, on inquiring by the user, the caller identified himself as a Police officer.

“He told me an FIR has been registered against me in Islamabad police station,” the face book user said.
The Facebook user said he was told that he was charged of “provoking people” for doing anti-state activities.
“Police officer told me you are very active on Facebook. And you are uploading images and videos that instigate violence against state,” the user said.

After half an hour, the user said, he received another call from Station House Officer Islamabad Police station.
“He told me that FIR has been registered against me,” the user said. “ I got shocked, I told both the officers I was writing and uploading truth. There was no images or text that could have instigated violence”.
From then onwards, the user evading arrest.

“I am not reporting to police station since they would at least keep me detained for six days” he said. “Somebody told me they have slapped harsh acts against me. The acts incriminate me in waging war against state”.
The facebook user said apart from him few more people have also been called by police.
The incident has raised a widely held suspicion in Kashmir that Facebook was being monitored by police and other security agencies

SSP Islamabad Showkat Malik when asked about the face book scrutiny said, “ I have no idea about it”.

The Facebook is a very popular social networking site which provides people a platform to exchange and share ideas and upload pictures and videos.

Indian media plays dirty

After the series of cold blooded murders by the indian security forces,it came as a shock today as indian media started to cover up for their men.NDTV 24x7 today played a dirty gag backed by the center and state govt., by playing a so-called phone conversation which probably has been planned. In the conversation two persons from district budgam were saying they wanted to see many more deaths. It is nothing but a dirty step of a dirty politics that is trying to deviate not only the people of Kashmir but also trying to cover up the brutalities of Indian Armed forces by holding others responsible for the mess.It seems a step to show the world that how clean are the hands of indian armed forces.

If we really ponder over all this media gag many questions arise that they need to answer before we buy there fake stories.
Why only now did they find such conversations?
Why did this all happen after handing over the capital to army?
Why did even Barkha Dutt came to summer capital after so many deaths?
How do we believe that conversation that was played was real and not a planned one?

There are so many unanswered question that make us doubt the credibility of biased indian media regarding this case.I am not ready to buy this story at all, please share your views about it.

Indian Armed forces on a Killing Spree in Kashmir----Bloodbath in Kashmir

Over past six months more then 15 teenagers fell pray to the brutality of Indian armed forces but from the last few weeks, it has been a bloodbath in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.
From 12 June 2010 till now almost 11 people lost there lives most of them young teenagers.
It all started with the killing of an innocent boy Tuffail Ahmad Matoo a student of 11th std. by the brutal forces on the fateful day of June 12.Protests erupted all over the valley against the killing and during the protests another 21yr old youth Rafiq Ahmad Bangroo was brutally beaten who succumbed to his injuries on June 19th at SKIMS. Thousands of people thronged to attend the funeral prayers of Rafiq next day and that is when the so called Security agencies once again shot at the protester's killing another youth Javed Ahmad Malla on spot and injuring many more. The separatist called for protest against the killing of innocent civilians across the beautiful vale which was once known to be the "Paradise on earth."

Unfortunately this was not the end of shock and miseries for the people of Kashmir,for them it had just begun. In the Apple Town Sopore an encounter had started between militants and the so called security forces, two militants were martyred in the encounter. It was June 24 the encounter ended and people were demanding the bodies of the two slained militant's to be handed over, when the so called security forces once again shot at the protesting civilians killing two youth Shakeel Ahmad Ganai (24) and Firdous Ahmad Kakroo a class 12th student on spot. In the following days the situation remained tense as people all over the valley were mourning the deaths.On June 27 Sunday, day long protest were held all over the valley and another youth Bilal Ahmad Wani, who was not the part of procession according to the eyewitnesses was shot dead while on his way to Masjid to offer prayers. Govt. failed to handle the situation and in the wake of call given by separatist for students to protest, ordered to shut the educational instt. for two days.

28 June was another day of continued bloodbath as the people marched from the different parts of the valley towards the Apple Town Sopore but were stopped by the Indian forces at different places and yet again outside the Kapra cinema near the headquarters of the 92 battalion CRPF near Sopore, the brute forces fired indiscriminately at protester's killing Tajamul Bashir Bhat a student of degree college sopore. This was not all, in the hamlet village of Delina a 9yr old boy Touqeer Ahmad Rather was shot dead by the CRPF.

Chaos had hit the whole valley,everyone was angry over the killings and in the meantime separatist leaders called for civil disobedience and protests, people came out on roads in Summer Capital Srinagars downtown area. Govt. felt helpless before the armed forces and gave them a clean chit and that acted as a fuel for the already started fire.

On June 29 an undeclared curfew was imposed in the summer capital Srinagar and people were not allowed to come out of there homes. While Srinagar was under siege South Kashmir was on boil, as the protests started early in the morning in Anantnag,eyewitnesses revealed that a 13yr old boy Arshid, who works at a tea shop was sitting near his shop when the large contingent of CRPF reached the place and fired three bullets upon him without any provocation. The news spread like fire and soon the whole district was on boil protesting against the barbarism of the brute occupying forces. The situation turned from bad to worst when the brute forces barged into the SK colony on Khannabal-Pahalgam road and resorted to indiscriminate firing killing two youth Ishtiyaq Ahmad Khanday (15) and Imtiyaz Ahmad on spot and injuring many others critically. Among the critically injured youth was Shujat ul Islam who succumbed to his injuries at SMHS hospital, taking the toll for the day to 3.

NA MAAL E GANIMAT, NA KISHWAR KUSHAI

MAY ALLAH GRANT PARADISE TO ALL THE MARTYR'S OF KASHMIR,PALESTINE,CHECHNIA,AFGHANISTAN,IRAQ ..etc

After few days of continuous curfew, Srinagar was on boil yet again today on 6th July when two more civilians were murdered in cold blood by the indian armed forces. In the Tengpora area of Srinagar CRPF chased a 11th Class student Muzaffar Ahmad Bhat to death, who drowned in the stream while trying to run away from the brute forces. Today another youth Fayaz Ahmad fell prey to the bullets of the brute forces when they fired indiscriminately on the protester's who were demanding punishment to the killers of Muzaffar Ahmad Bhat. As soon as the news about the fresh killings spread protests erupted across the city. In the meantime Mirwaiz Umar Farooq staged a sit in the Rajouri Kadal area of the downtown. Thousands of people joined Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and staged a sit in. When the reports last came in Mirwaiz Umar Farooq lead procession was marching towards LAL CHOWK passing through different areas of Downtown were more people joined the procession. According to the eyewitnesses pro-freedom and anti-india, anti-armed forces slogans were reverberating in the old city.

Death toll increased to three in the Batmaloo area of Srinagar since morning when a girl named Fancy(24) was killed by the CRPF troopers who resorted to indiscriminate firing at Danderkhah area in batmaloo killing Fancy on spot. Eyewitnesses say the CRPF troopers started indiscriminate firing, "without any provocation."

Meanwhile Mirwaiz Umar Farooq's procession which was on its way to Lal Chowk was dispersed near Mamta Hotel at Khayam. A huge contingent of CRPF was already deployed who resorted to tear gas shelling and aerial firing and dispersed the procession which started from Rajouri Kadal.

Another youth Abrar Ahmad was killed at Maisuma when the CRPF troopers opened fire at the protesting youth. With killing of Abrar the death toll since morning has reached 4

Curfew has been imposed in the Summer Capital Srinagar, putting people once again under siege..

So far the Govt. has been unable to stop the civilian killings in Kashmir Valley by the CRPF troopers. The NC lead Govt. seems helpless against the Central Govt. who have given clean chit to the CRPF and in the meeting between DG CRPF and puppet Chief Minister Umar Abdullah, seems that DG has ordered the so called CM not to interfere in working of its troops which compelled the CM to give them a clean chit...

After the latest massacre by the indian armed forces on wednesday the Summer capital Srinagar was put under siege as all the entry and exit points were sealed. Govt. today handed over the capital to the Army who are well known for their brutality.
